Birthdays, dates and changing noun stems
A birthday date uses a linking month and a numbered day ending in : . means on Saturday without copying an English preposition.
means your birthday; compare . is the everyday phrase I am turning ten.
Not every noun simply adds : քույր → քրոջ, եղբայր → եղբոր, մայր → մոր, հայր → հոր. Recognise these in family phrases and learn them with the noun.
Ծնունդս մարտի քսանհինգին է։My birthday is on March twenty-fifth.
