Use the instrumental for transport or means: , , , . means on foot; the noun stem is .
Կես կիլոգրամ / Քարտով
A quantity normally has singular measure and item nouns: , . is half a kilogram. Armenian does not insert of between these words.
Երկրորդից / Վերադառնում ենք
A train leaves : from the second platform. If platform is understood, say . The source ending attaches to the word that stands for the platform.
Գնանք / Նստենք
A first-person plural invitation ends in without a separate auxiliary: (let us go), (let us sit), (let us drink). Compare : we are going.
Մոտ / Դիմաց / Միջև
Armenian place words often come after a linking noun: , , , . They are called postpositions because they follow their noun.
