Simple future plans

A common future pattern uses կ plus the short person form: կպատրաստեմ, կպատրաստես, կպատրաստի, կպատրաստենք, կպատրաստեք, կպատրաստեն. There is no separate present auxiliary.

For գալ, learn կգամ, կգաս, կգա, կգանք, կգաք, կգան. Կլինեմ is I will be. These are common forms, so learn them as their own small families.

For a negative future, the negative auxiliary precedes a special verb form: չեմ պատրաստի, չես պատրաստի, չի պատրաստի. With come use չեմ գա. Recognise these everyday negatives; use simple positive plans first.

The first completed-event forms դրեցիր and պահել եք occur naturally in this scene. Learn the questions as phrases; the following scenes practise completed events systematically.

• Ես կպատրաստեմ։I will cook.

• Դու գումարը կվերցնես։You will take the money.

• Ես վաղը կգամ։I will come tomorrow.
