м + а + кмак · poppy
т + о + мтом · volume

The mark in ко́тка and ма́ма shows the strong syllable; everyday print leaves it out.

Reading tips

The capitals А К М О Т look like enlarged small letters. The acute accent is a teaching hint: it marks the first syllable in ко́тка and ма́ма and the last in око́.

Use a Bulgarian keyboard

Bulgarian has a standard BDS layout and widely used phonetic layouts. Either is optional: the guided course has on-screen tiles. Keep ъ and ь separate. Teaching acute accents may be omitted in input; the grave in ѝ belongs to the word and is not a removable stress hint.
