JussiHyvää iltaa, Nöpö! Onko sinulla nälkä?

His phone rings. On the screen it says: Mama.
Äiti soittaa. Hän asuu kaukana.
It's his mum calling. She lives far away.

JussiHaloo? Ai, äiti! Hyvää iltaa!
Hello? Oh, Mum! Good evening!
- Äiti
Hei, Jussi! Mitä kuuluu?
Hi, Jussi! How are you?
JussiHyvää, kiitos. Entä sinulle?
Fine, thanks. And you?
- Äiti
Ei kovin hyvää. Asut kaukana, ja minä olen täällä yksin.
Not great. You live far away, and I'm here on my own.
- Äiti
Oletko nyt töissä?
Are you working at the moment?
JussiKyllä, äiti. Soitan. Olen muusikko.
Yes, Mum. I play. I'm a musician.
- Äiti
Muusikko! Se ei ole työ. Tarvitset oikean työn.
A musician! That's not a job. You need a real job.
- Äiti
Ystäväsi Pauli on insinööri. Hänen äitinsä on hyvin iloinen.
Your friend Pauli is an engineer. His mum is very happy.
JussiÄiti, minäkin olen iloinen.

- Äiti
Ei sohvaa? Miksi? Missä se on?

JussiNaapurin kylpyhuoneessa.
It's in my neighbour's bathroom.

A real job... Nöpö, you don't have a job either.
