Requests and commands
For a singular request, use the negative present stem without the negative verb: , , , , . Add for a negative request: , . The imperative is the request or command form.
For several people, or respectful address, use -kaa/-kää: , , , . The plural request stem is not always the same as the singular stem; keep pairs together: , , . Negatives are , , , . softens a request.
