Past actions and irregular forms
Some very common verbs have irregular past participles. Useful regular and irregular forms in this module include (seen), (heard), (found), (gone), and (come). Learn them as fixed chunks with the helper verb.
Examples from the story: , , , , These forms are much more useful than learning long verb lists.
Negatives still go around the helper verb: , , . The participle stays after .
When the learner is the speaker with verbs, the form changes for gender: for a man, for a woman. That is why learner lines must sometimes show both forms.
