ejective t: tight, poppedტელეფონი · phone
თ is a t with a puff of air, never the th of English “thin”.
Reading tips
Compare the same ა carrier before reading the words. თმა begins with t + m without a helper vowel between them. დედა means mother, contrasting with მამა father.
