Reading tips

Georgian uses familiar 0–9 digits and everyday punctuation. ₾ is the lari currency sign. Typing uses letters in spoken order; the guided tiles require no installed keyboard. Keep the ejective and aspirated letters separate even when their Latin-key mappings feel similar.

Use a Georgian keyboard

The guided course has on-screen letters in logical order. A Georgian keyboard, often with a phonetic Latin-key mapping, is optional. Names and sentences use ordinary Mkhedruli, not a capital first letter. Mtavruli is an all-capital style for whole headings.
