With demonstrative pronouns you point to a specific person or thing: dieser,diese,dieses (this).
dieser takes the same endings as the definite article der,die,das:dieser Mann,diese Frau,dieses Kind,diese Kinder.
The ending matches gender,number, and case:Ich kenne diesen Mann.Ich fahre mit diesem Bus.
The pronoun man means people in general (one / people). It is always singular with the verb form for er/sie/es:Hier kann man gut essen.
