Explanation
Many verbs and expressions combine with a second verb in the infinitive plus zu:Ich versuche, früh aufzustehen.
The zu + infinitive stand at the end of the sentence. A comma usually comes before the infinitive clause: Wir haben vor, Deutsch zu lernen.
Such verbs include, for example, versuchenvorhabenanfangenvergessenhoffen as well as expressions like Lust haben:Ich habe keine Lust, heute zu arbeiten.
With separable verbszu slots between the prefix and the verb stem — it is built into the word: aufstehen → aufzustehen,einkaufen → einzukaufen.

brauchen + zu is a negated müssen. With nicht or nur you say something is not necessary: Du musst kommen. → Du brauchst nicht zu kommen.
