Explanation

With reflexive verbs, the action refers back to the subject: the subject does something to or with sich (oneself).

You need a reflexive pronoun. It usually appears in the accusative: Ich freue mich. Du beeilst dich.

The forms match the subject:

  1. ich — mich
  2. du — dich
  3. er/sie/es — sich
  4. wir — uns
  5. ihr — euch
  6. sie/Sie — sich
