The storyA Saturday evening in Arjun's little flat under the roof. His mother calls from far away, his friends come round to play, and nobody downstairs is asleep for long.

Yes. I am a musician.

तुम्हें असली नौकरी चाहिए। तुम्हारा दोस्त इंजीनियर है। उसकी माँ खुश है।
You need a real job. Your friend is an engineer. His mother is happy.

माँ, मैं भी खुश हूँ।
Mum, I am happy too.
माँमेज़ है? बिस्तर? सोफ़ा?
Do you have a table? A bed? A sofa?
- अर्जुन
मेज़ और बिस्तर हैं। सोफ़ा पड़ोसी के बाथरूम में है।
I have a table and a bed. The sofa is in my neighbour's bathroom.

बाथरूम में? अर्जुन!

सब ठीक है। शुभ रात्रि।
Everything is fine. Good night.
अर्जुन तुरही देखता है। मोती सोता है।
Arjun looks at the trumpet. Moti sleeps.
- अर्जुन
मोती, तुम्हारी भी नौकरी नहीं है।
Moti, you have no job either.
दरवाज़ा खुलता है। दो दोस्त आते हैं।
The door opens. Two friends arrive.
- देव
नमस्ते! हम यहाँ हैं।
Hello! We are here.

मेरे पास ढोल है। पहले संगीत!
I have a drum. Music first!
- अर्जुन
नया गाना है। सुनो।
There is a new song. Listen.
अर्जुन बजाता है। दोस्त सुनते हैं।
Arjun plays. His friends listen.

बहुत अच्छा गाना!

धीरे। नीचे पड़ोसी सो रहे हैं।
Quietly. The neighbours downstairs are sleeping.

It is midnight. A light comes on downstairs.
