It is five in the morning. Everyone is sleeping.
राधा कैफ़े में है। ब्रेड और केक बनाती है।
Radha is in the café. She makes bread and cake.
राधानमस्ते, मेरे कैफ़े! काम का समय है।
Hello, my café! It is time for work.

There are thirty eggs, milk and butter in the fridge.

At six the phone rings.
- राधा
नानी! नमस्ते!
Grandma! Hello!
- नानी
केक बना रही हो? मैं भी ब्रेड बना रही हूँ।
Are you making cake? I am making bread too.
राधाहाँ। हम नहीं सोते। खाना बनाते हैं।
Yes. We do not sleep. We cook.
- नानी
और तुम खाती हो? सब तुम्हारा केक खाते हैं।
And do you eat? Everyone eats your cake.
- राधा
भूख नहीं लगी है। समय भी नहीं है।
I am not hungry. I have no time either.
- नानी
भूखे लोग खुश नहीं रहते।
Hungry people are not happy.
- राधा
मुझे पता है। इसलिए सबको केक देती हूँ।
I know. That is why I give everyone cake.
सात बजे कैफ़े खुलता है। अर्जुन आता है।
At seven the café opens. Arjun comes in.
अर्जुनचाय, कृपया। बस चाय।
Tea, please. Just tea.
- राधा
आप थके हैं। यह बड़ा कप।
You are tired. Here is a big cup.
कमला और मीरा आती हैं।
Kamala and Meera come in.
कमलाकड़क चाय। बिना चीनी।
Strong tea. Without sugar.
मीरादस पैनकेक!
Ten pancakes!
- कमला
दस नहीं। दो।
Not ten. Two.
- राधा
और मोती के लिए छोटा पैनकेक।
And a little pancake for Moti.
एक औरत आती है। फ़ोन हाथ में है।
A woman comes in. Her phone is in her hand.
- मेहमान
कॉफ़ी, जल्दी! केक नहीं। समय नहीं है।
Coffee, quickly! No cake. I have no time.
राधायह कॉफ़ी। केक मेरी तरफ़ से।
Here is coffee. The cake is from me.
- मेहमान
बहुत अच्छा। एक और मिलेगा?
Very good. May I have another?
- राधा
हाँ। बैठिए।
Yes. Sit down.
शाम को कैफ़े खाली है।
In the evening the café is empty.
- राधा
आज अस्सी लोग। सबको केक!
Eighty people today. Cake for everyone!
नानीअब खाना खा रही हो?
Are you eating now?

हाँ। पनीर वाली ब्रेड और केक। मोती मछली खा रहा है।
Yes. Bread with cheese and cake. Moti is eating fish.
