The storySaturday morning, the day of the festival. On the way to the market square, you and Meera stop at the old toy and gift shop, and Mrs Sarla tells you about a boy of ten, his first trumpet and his first festival, eighteen years ago.

Sarla talks about the old festival.
सरलाफिर बहुत बारिश हुई। लोग घर गए। अर्जुन गीला और उदास था।
Then it rained a lot. People went home. Arjun was wet and sad.

मंच के सामने थीं। छाता था। कहा, अर्जुन, घर मत जाओ। बजाओ।
She was before the stage. She had an umbrella. She said, Arjun, do not go home. Play.

He played in the rain. The band's song. Beautifully. The rain stopped. People came back. Everyone sang.

सरलाहाँ। मैंने, कमला ने, सबने। माता-पिता देर से आए। आख़िरी गाना सुना। नई बड़ी तुरही खरीदी।
Yes. Me, Kamala, everyone. His parents arrived late. They heard the last song. They bought a new large trumpet.
