ह · ha

य is consonant y, as in yes. व has a lip sound between English v and w; do not require a rigid English choice for every word.

यह and वह are commonly pronounced approximately yah/voh or ye/vo in conversation. They are whole words to learn with audio, not a promise that every written ह disappears.
