Reading tips

ङ · ṅa · Velar nasal as ng in sing; rare as an independent full sign in ordinary Hindi words.

ञ · ña · Palatal nasal; mainly in conjuncts and learned spellings.

ङ and ञ complete the basic consonant inventory. Everyday Hindi often writes a nasal dot where older Sanskrit-derived spellings use a nasal consonant: अंग is common; अङ्ग is a learned spelling.

ज्ञान is commonly pronounced gyān in Hindi. Its conjunct ज्ञ is ज + ् + ञ; do not expect the spoken result to be a literal letter-by-letter Sanskrit reading. These are recognition items, not a requirement to invent words with rare letters.
