Reading tips

Final inherent a is usually dropped in Hindi: कमल is kamal, नाम is nām. Some internal inherent vowels drop too: कमरा reads kamrā, not kamarā.

Schwa deletion is not simply deleting every a or every second a. Word structure, borrowed vocabulary and careful speech matter. Compare a likely decoding with the actual whole-word model.

Keep written marks when typing. अनार begins with अ; deleting a spoken inherent vowel elsewhere does not give permission to delete its consonant or insert a halant into a standard word.
