Inside, the shop smells of wood and old paper. Mrs Daina sits down behind her counter and takes off her glasses.

Then it rained. It poured! And lots of people went home.

Jānis bija slapjš un bēdīgs. Viņš arī gribēja iet mājās.
Little Jānis was wet and very sad. He wanted to go home too.

And Grandma? Where was Grandma?
- Daina
Maija sēdēja uz sola skatuves priekšā. Ar lietussargu.
Maija was sitting on the bench in front of the stage. With an umbrella.

Viņa teica: Jāni, tu neej mājās! Spēlē!
