Simple future plans

A future tense expresses a later time. Here Portuguese uses present plus an infinitive to give that future meaning.

Simple future plans

Use present plus an infinitive for plans: . Keep the second verb as an infinitive, not a present form. A future time makes the plan clear: .

Present alone also expresses a plan with a time: . means between; means opposite. contains . Learn (told me) and in the map scene; full past narration comes later.
