Saturday morning. Tomaž has invited you to the lake tomorrow, by train. Where is the station? Outside number 7 you ask the way: Ana, Maja, and Jure, just home from a night of jazz. Three neighbours, three answers.

Dobro jutro, gospa Ana. Kje je postaja?

Jutri greva s Tomažem do Dolgega jezera. Z vlakom.

Vem. Daleč je. Najprej levo, potem naravnost in na drugi ulici desno.

Maja comes out of the café with a tray.

I mean the train station. It is far away.

Jaz o avtobusni postaji. Blizu je.

Jaz pa o Stari postaji. Tam igram konec tedna.
And I mean the Old Station. I play there at the weekend.

All three are right. The town has a train station, a bus station, and the Old Station, which is now a jazz bar. Jure plays there at weekends. You take Ana's way, and around the corner stands the train station, small and old, with a big clock.
