Comparing two things with กว่า

Comparing two things with กว่า

To compare two things in Thai, put after the adjective: , , .

A simple pattern is: thing A + adjective + + thing B. For example, means “It is colder here than in Hamburg.”

For price, means “cheaper” and means “more expensive.” For quantity or availability, Thai can say = “has fewer / less.”

Keep the order simple. The comparison word comes after the adjective, not before it.

A comparative compares two things. Put after the describing word.
