Reading tips
A real sign gives you a purpose for reading. First read เข้า, ออก and ห้องน้ำ; then use the displayed meanings to check. เข้า and ออก are also ordinary verbs. Context tells you that a doorway sign is directing you.
ห้องน้ำ combines room and water to mean bathroom. The spelling has a tone mark in each part. Read the complete word and copy its recording.
