–ัวะ · ua, short · The short partner.

–ัว spells long ua in an open syllable: วัว is a cow. Before many final consonants, it becomes –ว–: สวน is s + ua + n. –ัวะ is short. In the common word น้ำ, ำ is pronounced long; learn its complete spelling and sound rather than stretching every ำ word.
