Whose things and where they went

Whose things and where they went

For whose, ask . Answer with a genitive owner: , Tolga’s. If the thing is named, use the possessed noun: .

To replace a possessed noun, attach -ki to the owner form: . These mean mine, yours, his or hers, ours, yours, theirs. The ending -ki is fixed after these forms.

Review definite object endings after possessives: , I found my key; , I found his key, if the owner is explicit. The third-person buffer also appears before locative: , in his pocket.
