Scene 49 of 50

El tesoro del desván

The attic treasure

Your goalI can say whose things are and when they went missing.

Your suitcase is in the attic, where Elvira put it. You take the old key from the raincoat ("Keep it," she said; now you know why) and climb the ladder from the top landing, past Javier's door; Lucía follows. This is the X on her map, and there is a small round window, just big enough for a cat. Under the roof: buttons, a spare key, the computer mouse from the office, Tomás's pen, the candle "10", the toy thermometer, the mouthpiece. Whose is what, and when did it go? "Your flat was empty for a long time," says Lucía. "It was his flat. And his things."
